Select and use

What characterizes Sit-i's movement principle?

With Sit-i, free movement is created directly beneath the seat. The base remains stable, while the body is given space for natural rotations, variation, and adjustment. This encourages conscious movement while sitting.

Which Sit-i model is right for me?

It depends on your application. Care is the dynamic working chair for care and treatment; Care · Pro adds sensor technology. Athlete · Pro focuses on training and movement analysis, Oris on dentistry and Opus on working at a desk or at home.

Can I adjust the Sit-i to my body and working height?

The appropriate seat height and configuration depend on your height, working height and application. Include these in your quotation or advice request so we can discuss a suitable configuration with you.

Do I need to get used to dynamic sitting?

That’s possible. The Sit-i offers greater freedom of movement than a traditional chair. Start gradually and alternate with your usual way of sitting. There is no one-size-fits-all approach: listen to your body and gradually increase use in a way that works for you.

Technology and Sit-i Pro

Which models are available with sensor technology?

Sit-i Athlete · Pro and Sit-i Care · Pro are developed with Sit-i Pro sensor technology. The current product page always states which technology and configuration belong with a model.

What does Sit-i Pro make visible?

Sit-i Pro sensors record rotation and changes in the seat’s angle. The software displays that movement directly. Compare the measurement information with your observations and the person’s experience. The technology does not make a diagnosis.

Is Sit-i Pro a medical device?

Sit-i Pro is not a medical device. Its sensors record movement of the seat to support observation and analysis. The system does not make a diagnosis and does not replace diagnostics, clinical decision-making or the user’s professional responsibility.

Ordering, delivery and service

The additional factory warranty is five years on the structure and mechanism and two years on upholstery. Pro models also have two years on electronics and sensors. Your statutory rights remain in place.

See the warranty terms for full coverage and arrangements.

How do I clean and maintain my Sit-i?

Use a soft cloth and a cleaning agent suitable for the material in question. Avoid abrasive or harsh agents. See the Maintenance and care page for practical instructions.
